Education and Training Supervisor

LICADD is looking for an LMSW/LMHC with experience providing training and educational programs to students, parents and professionals on a variety of topics. Position requires oversight of numerous training based programs

Essential Job Duties:

Education & Training for LICADD

-  Supervise all educational staff and training

-  Coordination of the Professional Training Program

-  Development and Marketing

-  Consistently updating all available courses and course descriptions for digital marketing

-  Completion of NYS and OASAS forms and applications for all trainings for which we are certified

-  Continuous research to update resources to include evidence-based research statistics, new topics and reliable data

-  Outreach and marketing to professional entities to bring trainings onsite Development of the online resources for distance learning (Web. Ex Webinars)

-  Ongoing development and marketing of  training catalog

-  Consistent organization of paperwork for trainings

-  Manage the invoices and revenue of all department income

-  Schedule and provide onsite trainings to agency staff, other professionals, and some school based staff, when necessary

-  Collaboration with FCA for ALPHA Program

Development and Marketing

-  Consistently updating all available courses and course descriptions for digital marketing and updates to EZ Register site

-  Create quarterly ALPHA training schedule Outreach new speakers, venues, topics and potential participants

-  Work alongside Director of Education at FCA

-  Supervise Opioid Overdose Prevention Program:

-  Coordinate all requested Naloxone trainings

-  Order new Naloxone kits as needed

-  Complete all required paperwork

-  Track and report number of trainings and people trained

-  Clinical Work as part of the LICADD Clinical Team at all LICADD Locations

-  Clinician will be able to provide all LICADD clinical services including: individual and family counseling, family intervention assessments, SBIRTs, relapse prevention counseling, anger management assessments and counseling, etc.

-  Clinician will be a part of the LICADD team and will assist with any and all needs of LICADD outside of clinician's immediate job responsibilities including but not limited to: clinical team office coverage, on-call phone coverage, event attendance, program assistance, marketing and development, advocacy, grant writing, outreach, and fundraising.

Qualifications and Requirements include:

-  Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling

-  Certifications or Licenses: LMSW; LCSW; MSW-LP; MHC-LP; LMHC

-  2 years' experience presenting in a professional and/or school settings preferred; knowledge of substance use disorders expected. Individual should have excellent public speaking skills and be comfortable speaking to large groups of people. Individual should be organized, flexible and an effective leader and team member. Creativity and marketing skills are a plus.

-  Valid NYS driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history and a motor vehicle that is properly registered and insured in accordance with NYS DMV and agency regulations.  Moderate travel is required and provided by the candidate own vehicle

-  Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Individual must be competent in the use of Publisher and PowerPoint to assist in development of presentations. Ability to use technology to assist with department functions.
