The Opportunity

The Counselor provides counseling for elder abuse victims, and assists victims of abuse to connect with resources and support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current statistics to be submitted to the program Director each month

• Provide counseling and assistance to elder abuse victims in accessing supportive services including: counseling, connecting to community based care through home based, individualized case management services.
  Administer satisfaction survey and collect data to measure benefit of services.

• Monitor and track referral source and connect with NC District Attorney's office to track referrals and work collaboratively.
• Complete all case records/forms and data base for tracking program activities as required by program.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
  
• Case Management, Counseling or outreach experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft office required.
• Valid New York State Driver's License required.

Salary: $31.25/hr
