Program Manager

 Program:  NASSAU THRIVE

(A Center for Transformation, Healing, Recovery, Inspiration, Validation and Empowerment) THRIVE, Long Island's first recovery center, is a facility dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals in recovery and their family members.

Primary Responsibilities include:

The Program Manager is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of Nassau THRIVE.  He/she is responsible for supervision of Peer Recovery Coaches, ensuring that quality services are being provided and documented appropriately.  He/she will be responsible for working with Director to monitor evaluation activities and make necessary programmatic revisions as determined necessary.  The Program Manager is responsible for completing all internal and external reports, and participation in necessary external funder and community meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements include:

·  Bachelor's degree in health and human service field OR Equivalent experience required, Master's degree in counseling or social work preferred.

·  NYS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) preferred.

·  Experience with nonprofit management.  Familiarity with recovery and substance use treatment services.  Knowledge of local community.

·  Valid NYS Driver's License with a safe and responsible driving history, use of your own vehicle.

  Schedule:

·  Full-time, 35 hours per week.

·  Monday through Friday, some evenings and weekends required.
