Job Title: Respite Intern

Program Title: Family Center Nassau Respite

Department Name: Community Mental Health and Wellness (CMHW)
 

The Community Mental Health and Wellness Division offers an array of services to meet the individual needs and strengths of youth and families. Our home and community-based respite program offers respite to families who have a child with a mental health diagnosis.


Responsibilities: 

The intern will provide planned respite services and be required to complete documentation that complies with state, county, agency and program regulations.


Qualifications

  •  Junior or senior level undergraduate social work student or master's level social work student
  • Some experience working with children and families preferred
  • Valid and clean driver's license, along with a motor vehicle that is properly registered and insured.
  • Ability to conduct home and field visits required.


Schedule


Days and times are flexible-afternoon/early evenings or weekends.
