Link-Age Undergraduate Intern (UNPAID)

Link-Age Program Undergraduate Intern to assist our program staff with client cases, research resources available in the community, complete follow ups with clients/services, provide technology education to clients, and assist with administrative tasks (manage incoming referrals, data entry, etc.). Interns will work with client's 55 years old in all of Nassau County who are experiencing behavioral health issues.

Other Responsibilities:

-  Participate in weekly team meetings

-  Complete Assessments (Depression, Anxiety, Substance Use, and Suicide Risk Assessment) with clients over the phone

-  Assist program staff with connecting client's to needed services/resources

-  Attend potential trainings with Link-Age Staff

-  Attend potential outreach events

-  Work with clients to use technology like, Cell Phones, Fire Tablet & Fitbit to improve Health Confidence & Socialization

-  Work collaboratively on cases with other professionals which provide a networking opportunity for interns
