Bookkeeper/Contracts - Entry Level

Responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare and document reimbursement claims on a monthly basis.  This includes:
    1. Review and submit invoices for payment for funding sources
    2. Code invoices as required
    3. Reconcile monthly credit card statements
    4. Prepare Mileage claims via electronic travel system

e. Prepare and submit requests for equipment purchases per funding source and agency policies.

f. Initiate and complete budget modifications per funding sources guidelines to meet program goals and maximize reimbursement.

g. If program/funding source contract requires revenue from other sources such as client fees, donations, match, document and reconcile claim and accounting records. 

  1. Record revenue resulting from monthly claims and approved revenue adjustments into accounting system. 
  2. Maintain year to date audit claim logs to record monthly billing, revenue, advance payments, disallowed expenses and funding source payments
  3. Prepare quarterly reconciliations to ensure claiming reflects accounting system information.

Qualifications and Requirements include:

- High School Diploma 

- Minimum 3 year full-time experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping related environment.

- Accounting software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook email, good writing and communication skills.


- Full-time 35 hours per week
