Program Coordinator

Location: Hempstead|Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri | Status: Non-Exempt |Salary: $33/Hour


The Opportunity

FCA has an opportunity for a School Based Bi-lingual (Spanish) Program Coordinator for the Families First program.  

The Program Coordinator will provide trauma-informed, systems-based and strength-based psychotherapy services in Spanish to ENL students and their families as part of the Family First school-based counseling program. The Program Coordinator maintains communication with the school's mental health and ENL staff to benefit students' progress within the North Shore and Great Neck School Districts. This position also oversees the staff within FCA's Families First Program. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based individual and family psychotherapy services to students in-school.
  • Conduct initial client assessments; develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate and communicate with other referral sources as well as other service providers
  • Maintain client case records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and FCA policies
  • Maintain Daily log of school hours
  • Collaborate with school staff to benefit students' treatment and ability to access resources
  • Engage in professional development training
  • Provide supervision to clinicians within the program.
  • Maintain billable hours and provide monthly billing to schools and FCA Fiscal Team
  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned to ensure effective program and agency operations.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling required.
  • LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC is preferred. 
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish.
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing counseling services to adolescents and families.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office.
  • Valid and clean driver's license required.
