Residential Supervisor - SIGN ON BONUS

Primary Responsibilities include:

·  Supervise and monitor counselors' interaction with children and families.

·  Model positive interactions and implement residential training curriculum as required by OMH core curriculum with children and families as well as with staff.

·  Ensure the program is operating in compliance with all regulatory and funding sources. Responsible for the completion of all reports in a timely manner.

·  Responsible for implementing Medicaid billable services for residents.

·  Coordinate and supervise the training of residential counselors in core competencies.

·  Ensure the implementation of all program structures, including program orientation, polices, and procedures.

·  Implement the daily program and monitor the orientation of new residents.

·  Coordinate the fiscal requirements of the program, i.e. petty cash, personal needs allowances, Social Security, Medicaid, allowance, and recreation as assigned.

·  Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the house and program vehicle.

·  Meet with the Program Director on a regular basis to discuss overall program effectiveness.

·  Assist in identifying program needs and containing program costs.

·  Represent the program in meetings and committees as requested.

·  Monitor the purchasing of program provisions and supplies.  

·  Ensure that there is proper staff coverage for shifts.

·  Coordinate and supervise the hiring, training, and documentation for residential staff.

·  Responsible to randomly review camera footage on a consistent basis.

·  Responsible to be on call for any emergency situations.  

Qualifications and Requirements include:

·  Bachelor's Degree.

·  2-4 years of relevant experience with residential care and/or adolescents with SED.

·  A valid New York State driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history.  Own motor vehicle properly insured and registered in accordance with NYS DMV regulations, and able to drive to client homes, meetings and other worksites.

·  Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).  


· This will be 2 positions with a rotation of 4 days on 3 days off and 3 days on 4 days off. Full Time, Some night and weekend hours required.

·  Hours may vary depending on family and house needs.

·  Must be on-call and available to assist Coordinator in emergencies.
