Location: Hempstead/Hicksville (Split between both locations) | Schedule: Full Time, 35 hour per week Monday - Friday | Status: Non-Exempt |Salary Range: $21 - $24/hour

The Opportunity

Family and Children’s Association (FCA) is seeking a Patient Transporter to assist individuals in accessing treatment services at the Family & Children’s Association Certified Community Behavioral Health Center. The Transporter will coordinate and provide transportation using a company van, including hospital discharges, and support the agency’s food pantries.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals safely and efficiently to FCA site locations for services, ensuring timely and accurate arrival.
• Assist clients with scheduling transportation and demonstrate competence in transporting various age groups.
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team, other service providers, and clients to coordinate transportation.
• Enter required notes and data into agency charts and dashboards, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with overseeing and maintaining agency food pantries, and adhere to confidentiality policies in line with HIPAA regulations..

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License with a clean driving history.
• Ability to operate agency vans safely and responsibly.
