Primary Responsibilities include:
- Identify and engage youth/community
in community forums with focus on prevention environmental strategies with
professionalism and cultural competencies.
- Perform outreach and
education in the community related to Prevention Services and maintain
current knowledge of community programs and client entitlements.
- Facilitate creative youth workshops and community forums
with educational and prevention focus.
- Complete all agency and
regulatory required paperwork in accordance with the guidelines
established and submit them within the designated timeframes and deadlines.
- Assist in the development,
execution, and completion of successful prevention work.
- Work with Director to develop and implement data
collection methods, tools, and evaluation measures for coalition activities,
work on projects in conjunction with coalition members.
Qualifications and Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree, Master's
degree preferred.

Not required, but a
bonus: Credentialed Prevention Professional (CPP), Credentialed Prevention
Specialist (CPS), Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor
(CASAC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Health Educator, and/or
Credentialed Problem Gambling Counselor.

Two years' qualifying
prevention work experience working with at risk youth and high need
communities.
Schedule:
- 21 hours per week/
flexible schedule.
