Primary Responsibilities include:
diagnostic assessments and diagnose clients according to DSM-5 criteria. Prescribe and monitor psychotropic
clinical services that are culturally competent and sensitive to the racial and
ethnic backgrounds of the community served.

Qualifications and Requirements include:
- Master's Degree in
Nursing from an accredited program.
- New York State
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry.
- DEA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioner experience working in an outpatient or inpatient chemical
computer skills with Microsoft Office.
15 hours per week divided between the 2 locations (Hempstead and Hicksville).
is flexible but requires some evening hours.
