Reports To: CFTSS Coordinator/Services Director


The Opportunity

The Children's Mental Health and Wellness Division offers an array of services to meet the individual needs and strengths of youth and families. Our Children and Family Treatment Support Services program offers home and community-based therapy services to youth ages 5-21 who have a mental health diagnosis.


Schedule

  • Days and times are flexible as this internship requires seeing the clients when they are available which is afternoon/early evenings or weekends.


Responsibilities

The student intern will provide individual and/or group therapy to clients ages 5-21 and be required to complete documentation in accordance with all agency and state guidelines.  Home visits are required. Agency vehicle will be provided to transport clients. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Second year masters level social work (MSW), mental health counseling (MHC), or marriage and family therapy (MFT) student
  • Some experience working with children and families preferred
  • Valid and clean driver's license required.
