Young Adult Recovery Supervisor

Location: Westbury, NY | Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours per week|Salary: $32.14/Hour


The Opportunity

The Young Adult Residences Supervisor oversees the coordination and implementation of a community-based recovery support program serving young adults ages 18-24 placed in recovery residences across Long Island. This role works closely with regional recovery residences to ensure effective program delivery, financial stipend coordination, and access to social and recovery supports. The Supervisor provides direct supervision to Recovery Coaches (CRPAs) and Care Coordinator delivering one-on-one and on-site recovery support services. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with regional recovery residences to implement and maintain a structured support program for young adults ages 18-24 placed in recovery housing.
  • Oversee participant enrollment, stipend coordination, and access to social, vocational, and recovery-oriented supports in collaboration with internal staff and external partners.
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, scheduling, and performance management for up to three Recovery Coaches (CRPAs) and one Care Coordinator delivering on-site and community-based supports.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of one-to-one recovery coaching services that align with THRIVE's recovery-oriented and participant-centered model.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between THRIVE, recovery residences, and community partners to support communication, problem-solving, and continuity of care.
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Director of Community-Based Recovery Services to plan, develop, and implement community-based workshops, recovery supports, and recovery-friendly social activities.
  • Monitor program implementation, identify emerging participant needs or housing challenges, and collaborate with leadership to develop responsive strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete required monthly reports related to participant engagement, stipends, services delivered, and program outcomes.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Completion of Recovery Coach Academy (minimum 50 hours) required; CRPA credential preferred or required within a designated timeframe.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing recovery support services, peer services, or community-based programming.
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience overseeing staff or peers strongly preferred. 
  • Must have proficient computer skills with MS Office. 
  • Valid and clean driver's license required.
