FCA's Marketing and Communications Manager seeks a per-diem Social Media Content Creator to assist with ongoing agency marketing, communications, special events, collaborations, and/or projects as needed. The intern will gain practical work experience in the communications and non-profit fields and develop modern skills such as social media strategy. 

Responsibilities

  •  Planning, drafting, producing, and publishing content that will vary from promotional outreach to engaging updates on our divisions and programs
  •  Proofreading collateral for grammar and usage and recommending culturally relevant changes to reflect the diverse audiences adequately
  •  Reading, evaluating, and editing content for adherence to agency styles, standards, and formats
  • Gathering information to be used for social media, articles, press releases and corporate correspondence
  • Assisting Director of Special Events and Partnerships with event related print and digital materials (such as event programs, name badges, place cards, slide decks, etc.)
  • Event related online marketing and social media
  • Verifying facts and statistics to be used in various communications.


    Qualifications

    • Junior/Senior level Undergraduate student or Graduate Student majoring is marketing, communications, and/or non-profit management.

    Schedule:

    • Opportunity available during the academic year (Spring, Summer 2023)
    • 7-14 Hours Weekly between the hours of 9am - 5pm; Days Flexible
    • Blended Work (Both On-Site & Remote)
