School Based Clinician

Location: Great Neck, NY | Salary: $53,000/year | Schedule: Full-time, M–F, 8 AM – 4 PM or 9 AM – 5 PM 

Family and Children’s Association (FCA) is seeking a compassionate School-Based Clinician to join our Family First school counseling program. This role delivers trauma-informed and strengths-based psychotherapy services in Spanish to ENL/ESL students and their families. 


 Responsibilities:

•Provide individual, family, and group therapy in a school setting

•Conduct client assessments and create treatment plans

•Perform initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

•Collaborate with referral sources and other service providers.

•Maintain HIPAA-compliant client records

•Participate in weekly supervision and professional development


Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (MFT, MHC, or MSW) required

  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience with adolescents and families
  • Three years’ experience working with at-risk youth.
  • Spanish Fluency required.
  • Valid and clean NYS driver’s license
