Licensed Therapist

The Opportunity

The Licensed Therapist provides individual, family and group therapy services to children and their families who are diagnosed or at risk of being diagnosed with a mental health disorder. Services take place primarily in the child's home and/or community but may be delivered virtually or in office based on client needs and preferences.


Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person off-site clinical services, including individual, family, and/or group therapy to children and their families.
  • Provide crisis services in-person or via phone to caseload, when available.
  • Complete progress notes for each session and telephone calls.
  • Complete treatment plans in accordance with State and Managed Care Organization Guidelines.
  • Coordinate with child's Care Coordinators or other providers, when needed.
  • Submit work by deadlines and in compliance with funding regulations and the agency's Compliance Plan.
  • Deliver and document services using a strength-based and family-driven approach.
  • Assume other responsibilities assigned to support the operations of the program.


Qualifications 

  • LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychoanalyst, LMSW under the supervision of an LCSW.
  • Limited permit MHC, MFT, and CAT will be considered
  • Supervision towards licensing provided.
  • Valid NYS driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout Nassau and Western Suffolk counties to provide services.


Additional Information

Schedule:

  • Schedule varies based upon family's availability. M-F afternoon and evening hours, and weekends.
  • F/T, 35 hours
  • Salary:$55-60k
